F1 5th Place Championship, Rules
The rules are simple, first of all have fun.
Important
You must vote before Qualifying starts each week (before Q1 begins), entries submitted after this time will not count.
Votes are submitted for
- Qualifying, 5 points for 5th place.
- Race, 25 points for 5th place, 18 points for 4th or 6th, 15 points for 3rd or 7th. This follows the normal F1 points for 1st, 2nd and 3rd.
- Fastest Lap, 10 points for 5th fastest lap, worth more than qualifying as it is very hard to guess.

Other rules
- Votes must be submitted before Q1 starts each race weekend (e.g. if Q1 starts at 12:00 then votes must be in before 12:00).
- Grid penalties are processed on race day, not in qualifying, so if the driver you vote for finishes 5th in qualifying but has a 5 place penalty, you still score your points.
- Voting is done right here on the website
- You can change your vote as many times as you like as long as it is in before Q1, it is always worth putting a banker in if you think you might not get time later.
